HWH Architects Engineers Planners Inc. is a multi-discipline engineering, architectural and design firm serving clients throughout the U.S. and the world. From headquarters in Cleveland, Ohio, HWH provides a full scope of services for industrial, commercial and government markets.
One Century Strong
Our origins date all the way back to1908 when two steel mill designers and mechanical engineers began offering their services in Cleveland. Five years later, the firm became known as a consulting and architectural firm, specializing in the design and supervision of industrial plants. The company would grow through the decades, surviving many name changes, but always consistently committed to sound business practices and great client service, values which remain intact today.
Today, HWH is an employee-owned firm of talented individuals who collaboratively partner with clients to offer creative solutions. By sharing lessons learned and best practices from our many years in the business, HWH proactively provides cost-effective approaches to solving our clients’ challenges.

HWH has successfully completed projects throughout the U.S. as well as in 32 countries totaling over $3 billion in construction costs. As our clients’ needs have changed, our services have evolved to include civil, structural, mechanical, process, and electrical engineering as well as landscape architecture and interior and site design. We also provide planning and project management services and procurement assistance.
