Complete Architectural, Engineering, and Interior design services for renovation of this historic building into a new product development center for the latest technology in the lighting industry. Tight design restrictions were employed to maintain the status of this building on the national list of historic places. Specialty design areas such as static dissipative flooring, clean-room technologies, lab hoods, and temperature and humitidy control systems were used throughout this research and development facility. Creative designs not only emphasized the juxtopostion of developing LED lighting technology in a centuries-old building, but also satisfied current energy, egress, and safe work environment codes and guidelines.
