Rich Simon

Vice President – Mechanical Department Mgr.

Rich worked his entire professional career at HWH, starting as a Co-op in 1995 and transitioning to a full-time graduate engineer in 1997. After two years in the mechanical department, Rich was loaned to a client for multiple field assignments in support of test facilities in the power industry. After 3+ years in the field, he returned to the mechanical department as a lead engineer. Rich transitioned to a project management role in 2008. He was promoted to Vice President in 2014 and was named Manager of the Mechanical Department in 2018.

Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering - University of Toledo, 1997

Accreditations

Licensed Professional Engineer in Ohio.

I enjoy family activities and staying active. I volunteer coach my kids’ sports teams including youth boys baseball, girls softball and girls basketball. I am still a fan of Cleveland sports and attend at least a handful of games a year. If I have any time left I spend it working on and driving my classic car.
